Parish Council Support for ‘No Mow May’ to Help Local Wildlife

The Parish Council is proud to support the District Council’s ‘No Mow May’ initiative, which encourages reduced mowing to support pollinators and local biodiversity.

By leaving grass uncut for the month of May, it gives wildflowers a chance to bloom and provide vital food for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators emerging in spring as well as supporting wildlife habitats.

As part of this initiative, selected areas of Barnes Park and Winsick Park will not be mown during the month of May.

We thank you for your support in helping nature thrive in our community.
